Spring

The long tailed Koel, welcomes Spring

And creeps happily further to ring;

On the branches of the mango tree

That filled with pretty maroon buds!

The white crowned koel tunes his sweet voice

Sings a beautiful song freely as per his choice;

It allures the female koels and makes his province

And lays eggs in other birds’ nest with no noise!
