You Awaken Joy

A candle that eliminates dreadful darkness
Lights the lamp of a student’s happiness;
You hold the most powerful weapon
To ignite the minds of younger generation!
English opens the window of future for everyone
All of us ever learn and develop it with passion;
Language is the key to the heart of people
And makes us feel and say something to all!
Dear Teacher! You took on the role to us  train
We owe you the knowledge and identity we gain;
We’re lucky to have a great teacher like you
For being led on to our future path by you!

    Opportunity in Difficulty

    I met a girl from a small village
    Who said, “I’ve a dream to grow!”
    She lives in an uncomfortable place
    And ever shows zeal for every race!

    Her worth lies in her confidence
    She works hard with perseverance;
    Self-disciplined at her performance
    Her adversity gifts her brilliance!

    She faces ignorance, skill and illumination
    And climbs up the ladder of excellence;
    She wanders independent in the world
    As the lotus rises spotless by the muddy water!

    A Falling Leaf

    Every leaf cherishes its growth
    Folds and unfolds in every season;
    Springs up in every pleasant morning
    Changes its colour season by season!
    The soil strongly upholds the tree
    Big and small branches set it to be free;
    Its cause refreshes the human mind
    It merely causes the branches to bind!
    Food process gives it prosperity
    Seasonal change gives it fatality;
    Human life like a shaking leaf
    Changes passing a peaceful reef!
    An infant alters as a naughty child
    A child in turn matures as an adult;
    An adult becomes a decision maker
    That faces the world as a real taker!
    Man takes up middle and old age
    Sacrifices his zeal and useless rage;
    All formed things eventually decay
    They leave the world as a falling leaf!

        Evening Tea

        Lovely setting sun a side
        Trees dance at the seaside;
        Ah! The seashore looks so wide!
        One’s life here is truly a pride!
        A plank of sheet is neatly spread
        For an evening’s delicious bread;
        And a round table friendly forum
        Handled things with a decorum!
        Twinkling stars appear afar
        Tall buildings there also befall;
        Green fence decorate the county
        The sunrays make the sea alluring!

          Law and Punishment

          The sun rises in the east on time
          The raindrops reach the land in time;
          The dew drops shine in an occurrence
          Colourful flowers shed in an occasion!
          We hear the song of the rain in rainy
          We sense the cool breeze in winter:
          We feel seasonal heat in every summer
          As it’s the law of the beautiful nature!
          Man needs his own individuality
          Thus he does his responsibility;
          He doesn’t wish to have any act
          He moves freely in his own act!
          The law shapes the society in a way
          And serves as a go-between in our way;
          Criminal law deals with human manners
          Civil law handles all human quarrels!
          Societal groups require regulation
          A crime also requires castigation;
          Criminal law changes one’s quality
          Individual law makes one find liberty!

            Choice

            “Father, I’d take up the branch of business,
             and can’t opt myself for the branch of Science!”
            “No, my child, you must join the medicine,
            Have I ever asked you to be a man like Edison?”
            “Oh! Father! I aim for the field of market
            Isn’t it unfair to compel me on your target?”
            “Dear! Amid all professions, it’s the best choice
            and a fact, don’t move against my voice!”
             “I wish I could become whatever I want to be
            Why can’t he realize the precious prodigy in me?”
            “I paced into the dentistry with his zeal and force
            I seldom have any interest in medicinal course!”

              Beauty

              Falling leaves in the spring
              Musical moving tides;
              Natural breeze of the tree
              Flying colourful birds in the sky!

              A tiring sleepy face
              Glittering expressive eyes;
              Beautiful dancing feet
              A pleasant lovely tweet!

              Untiring moving clouds
              Scattering morning sunrays;
              The song of the raindrops
              Greenish seasonal crops!

              A song in a singer’s voice
              A word in a speaker’s choice
              Warmth in a friendly hug
              Happiness in a winner’s tug!

              Beauty is everywhere
              In our wonderful imagination
              In god’s superbly creation
              In the worldly living and non-living!

                A Confident Woman

                I met an innocent lady
                Who said: “my legs slid under a four wheeler
                And I had a torment for hundred and fifteen days.”

                I was amazed to see her in pink now
                That brings her courage and confidence
                And enables her feel her husband’s love!

                I admired her partner who served her
                Like a human to another human with concern;
                Perhaps it is known to be loved and beloved!

                She thanked the almighty for her life’s return
                That makes her cherished son admire the true gain;
                Perhaps it is known as oneness of the real family!

                Illnesses never make us lose our confidence
                If you have no confidence in self,
                You’re twice defeated in the race of life!

                  The Rising Sun

                  The morning sun breaks free of the trees green
                  Dew drops brighten the grass, have you seen?
                  The rising sun opens the world’s morning door
                  Ah! Lovely rays scatter in all directions four!

                  The rising sun showers his impartial rays of light
                  Creatures rejuvenate their zeal with delight;
                  Birds, animals and humans glide further straight
                  As they end up their long restful winter night!

                  Sunrays spread like wildfire with no partiality
                  Equality is the soul of every living being’s liberty;
                  Regional and religious fights amongst humanity
                  Obstruct the way to the whole national unity!
